# How to read a real estate team's sales numbers on 30A — The 30A Report

## Where the figures come from
RealTrends Verified is the industry's independently verified production ranking. Brokerages submit closed sales, RealTrends verifies them and publishes rankings each summer for the prior year. The 2026 rankings cover 2025 sales. RealTrends files 30A teams under three cities: Santa Rosa Beach, Seagrove Beach and Inlet Beach.

## The four figures
- **Sales volume** — total dollars closed in the year. Rewards selling many houses or expensive ones; cannot tell you which.
- **Sides** — one per party represented in a closed sale; both sides of one house count twice. So 115 sides means somewhat fewer than 115 houses. A fraction of a side (46.3) is a sale shared with another team or agent.
- **Average sale** — volume divided by sides. The figure that separates a luxury team from a busy one.
- **Team size class** — Small (2–5 agents), Medium (6–10), Large (11–20), Mega (21–50), Enterprise (51+). Every "#1 in the city" on a RealTrends profile is a rank inside that class.

## Three questions to ask any team
1. What was your average sale last year?
2. How many sides did the team close, and how many were you personally?
3. Where can I check that? (RealTrends publishes team profiles.)
